What it is
Cleverer than a cylinder. Cleaner than a combi.
At the heart of every Sunamp Thermino is a phase-change material that stores heat four times more densely than water. When you turn on a tap, mains-cold water passes through the battery and comes out the other side hot, instantly, at full pressure, without ever sitting in a tank.
- Heats during cheap off-peak hours (or from solar surplus)
- Stores the energy in solid phase-change cells, so there's no tank and no risk
- Releases mains-pressure hot water on demand to every outlet
- Recharges automatically once below its set level

The size difference
The footprint that won an industry award.
Same hot water output. A fraction of the space. Visualised at the same scale.
Traditional hot water cylinder
Tall, heavy, loses heat 24/7
Sunamp Thermino
Wall-hung or floor-stood, zero standing loss
Why families switch
The four things you'll notice in week one.
Endless mains-pressure hot water
Instant flow at full pressure, with no waiting, no top-ups, and no warm-then-cold surprises mid-shower.
Up to a quarter of the space
Fits where a hot water cylinder never could: under stairs, in a slim utility cupboard, beneath a worktop.
Charges off-peak or from solar
Pair it with Economy 7, Octopus Go, or rooftop solar to bank your hot water when energy is cheapest.
10-year warranty, zero maintenance
No anodes, no servicing, no annual safety check. Charge it, use it, forget it.
Sound familiar?
Three problems the Sunamp quietly fixes.
Running out of hot water by bath number two
Cylinders cool while you wait. Sunamp doesn't. It heats on demand, in seconds.
Losing a whole airing cupboard to a tank
Reclaim the cupboard. The Sunamp is roughly the size of a kitchen unit.
Bills that creep up every winter
Phase-change storage means less standing loss, lower running cost, and clean off-peak charging.
Who it's for
Built for the way real homes actually use hot water.
The Sunamp suits a wider range of homes than any cylinder ever could. Pick the type closest to yours and let us tell you which Thermino we'd recommend.
Family homes
Especially anyone fed up running out of hot water at peak times.
Flats & apartments
Where every cubic foot counts and a cylinder simply won't fit.
Solar PV owners
Capture surplus generation as stored heat instead of exporting it cheap.
Holiday lets & second homes
Remote control, fast recovery, no Legionella worries when empty for weeks.
Renovation & new-build
Plan it in early, because it changes what you can do with your service rooms.
Pairs perfectly with solar
Capture solar surplus as stored hot water.
Instead of exporting your unused solar generation back to the grid for pennies, the Sunamp stores it as heat, ready for the next shower, the next sink full, the next load of washing. It's the simplest, lowest-fuss way to actually use the electricity your roof makes.

From a real install
“Just had our Sunamp Boiler fitted and we couldn't be more pleased with it. Tom came to the house after we got in touch with North West Electric Radiators. He went through everything with us, explaining everything in detail, advising us on what size boiler would be right for us and answering any questions we had. We arranged the installation for today which Richard and Cameron done for us. They both done a very professional job and left everywhere clean and tidy.”
